Alpenglow Music Program

A summer chamber music festival for musicians of all ages and skill levels

We will not be holding an Alpenglow session this summer. It has been an honor and a pleasure making music with you for the last five years, but for the time being we have chosen to step back and refocus on other areas of our professional and personal lives.

We hope you will continue making music with one another. For our young participants, there is a new summer opportunity in town called Credo, featuring our very own Michael Sabatka as a member of their faculty. See their website for details. For all ages, you are welcome to reach out directly to either one of us or our any of our coaching faculty for private lessons or chamber coachings on an individual basis, and you can also take advantage of the services offered by ACMP.

Want to know what it might be like to participate in our program? Check out this video from a previous summer!

We pride ourselves on providing unique opportunities and exciting experiences for amateur and student musicians of Colorado Springs, and we are so proud of the beautiful music they make together.

We were delighted to have a percussionist sign up for last summer’s festival, so we enlisted the help of Justin Doute to add a drum kit to this arrangement (originally for Kronos Quartet), and we are so proud of the result!

This ensemble was coached by Erin Patterson.

This program was made possible, in part, through the support of Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP), an international service organization supporting chamber music for pleasure.
